How can pain in my right foot be cured?

I am a 58 years old man who underwent spinal surgery two years back. After the surgery, I experienced acute pain in my great toe and other toes of the right foot. I underwent electric sensation treatment and physiotherapy for more than a year, but there is no sign of improvement till date. I find it difficult to walk and climb a staircase. The pain persists for the whole day. The pain increases when the big toe bends downward and the tendons get stretched. How can this be cured?

The pain and weakness that you developed in your great toe after the spinal surgery seems to be related to your spine pathology. I think this needs to be addressed by a Spine Specialist who would probably order a new set of MRI's of your back. If your treating surgeon is not responding, I would go ahead and take a second opinion from a different surgeon.
